Title only "more blogs" link

When clicking on the "More" link for blogs, instead of listing all the blog entries, on multiple pages, list only the date and titles, with links to the full entry. Possibly have the first, oh, 100 characters, if desired. But, for the most part, just list titles.
After so many blog titles (20?), then start paging.
This could also work for the On This Date module, updating the more link content.
