kitt decided around 20:44 on 28 September 2005 to publish this:
Kris' introduction to this particular workout:
Daylight is conspiring against us, so we are not having team practice on Thursday. That doesn't mean you should just sit on your ass, though. Please, please, please get into small groups and do as much throwing, cutting, marking, and dumping that you can do. We are having no team practice because it's an inefficient use of our time, but in smaller groups we should be able to get in at least a good hour of throwing and running to keep us sharp. Thanks. And the specific list of things to do:
1 - in cuts a - as the thrower, throw 5-10 forehands and 5-10 backhands to someone cutting hard, possibly with a defender right on their heels, and also possible with a mark applying some light pressure b - as the cutter, run full speed, and accelerate through the disc, possibly with a defender on your heels forcing you to go to 2 - away cuts (similar to in cuts, 5-10 forehands and 5-10 backhands with receivers going to the disc aggressively, can be a huck or a simple up the line cut) 3 - kill drill with continuation (two throwers with one cutter in the middle, cutter runs back and forth between the throwers making lateral cuts, a throw goes to the cutter who catches, stops, and immediately throws a continuation to the other thrower then cuts back the other way) 4 - three person marking drill 5 - dump drill 6 - Ten seconds of defense (if you have 4 people then have one thrower, one marker, one cutter, one defender; pick a force direction and have the cutter line up as if in the stack; tap the disc in and try to complete a pass within 10 seconds)
