Recycling resources
Resources I've found for reusing/recycling crap I have. These are convenient or interesting for me, so may have little interest for others not local to me in the South Bay.
Freecycle: http://freecycle.org/, becoming strangely militant about the use of "FreeCycle" in names, but a great idea.
Haven't tried these yet: Recycling athletic shoes into tracks and various other things. I'm not convinced the effort to get shoes to these people is worth the "good will" it generates, but what the heck - Nike's new Reuse-a-shoe program at http://www.nikereuseashoe.com Computer recycling on Caribbean, past Yahoo!, before the dump.
