Okay, I'm currently reading a lot. More than usual, which is saying something. I'm at a book every 3-4 days. Part of this is because of Libby, having three library cards, and not finding the Libby "pause this book hold request" until just this week - I have a lot of library books checked out.

I've been trying to work my way out of the deepest blue I've yet to experience. It's meant giving up on a lot of dreams, but also on a lot of expectations that are no longer reasonable. I failed. I failed a lot. And here I am.

I'm starting to get back into writing and speaking. I have a talk at ImageCon this April, which I'm really excited about. I also have a book for front-end developers wanting to understand more about back-end work in progress. That's been great, writing again.

And, I'm starting to look for contract work. That's been interesting, starting to do that again, instead of working on only my own projects.
