Morning Walk 23-01-20

Huh

I should set up a specific content type for these workouts. Need to knowing what I want to track first, though.

Temp was -4˚ outside, expected duration was 62 minutes, walk to the bank for cash and back. Listened to Kaiju Preservation Society.

Wore cords, hiking boots, short SmartWool socks, double bras, t-shirt, mustard long sleeve med base layer, r1 hooded fleece, vinson himala jacket, thin wool gloves, light fleece/wool hat, normal glasses

52 minutes, 4.3km, picked up cash.

Chilled to start, warmed about 10 minutes in, zipped down about 20 minutes in.

On return, wind in face, which chilled and became cold.

Nose was running considerably.
Left hip flexor still bothering me.

Settled into my quick walking pace, meditative state about 20 minutes in, and fully on return. Runaway Train ear worm.

Adjustments for this temperature:

thin long underwear for the backside chills (glutes, hamstrings)
buff for wind on head / face
kleenex or kerchief for snot
work on breathing through nose

Harmons is another 5-6 minutes of walking from the bank. Might be fine as a walk for picking up groceries and returning.
